About Innsaei Therapy & Guidance
Bonni Amsden, LPCC
As humans, we do the best we can in navigating the challenges that life throws our way. Sometimes we navigate these challenges effectively, and other times we may acquire coping skills and patterns of behavior that were once helpful but no longer serve us. Are you ready to break free of old patterns and to learn a new set of skills that will help you on your journey ahead? Are you curious about examining why these patterns may have emerged in the first place? It is true that uncomfortable emotions and experiences are a part of life, but this doesn’t mean we need to be controlled by our pain.
I use a Mindfulness-based approach to therapy with the aim of increasing awareness of emotional experiencing and patterns of behavior. I enjoy teaching coping skills that will increase emotion regulation and the ability to tolerate and successfully work through life circumstances that cause distress. I believe that collaboration is key to the therapeutic process and take pride in working with clients to create individual treatment plans that best support them in meeting their own therapeutic goals. I work hard to ensure that my clients feel safe, validated, and empowered to express themselves and their needs authentically.
The path to change can be scary and incredibly difficult. Fortunately, we don’t have to walk this path alone and can call on others to hold space for us along the way. I consider it an honor to walk alongside those that have made the courageous decision to make change in their lives, and look forward to taking this journey with you.

Maria Porinchak, LPCC
There are times in our lives when we may feel uncertain, overwhelmed, anxious, or down.
Personal and environmental stressors can significantly influence how we navigate our daily existence, sometimes with efficacy and at other times, with challenges. Though seeking help can be difficult, I am dedicated to offering a secure environment where we can explore individual impactful events, as well as patterns of behavior and communication that may contribute to a
sense of being stuck.
With over 15 years of experience as a Therapist, I have collaborated with clients using insight-oriented, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques. I am licensed in New Mexico & New York and enjoy working with adolescents and adults eager to delve into their strengths and challenges, with the aim of achieving their identified goals. I approach therapy holistically, providing genuineness and empathy, often incorporating a touch of humor or pop culture references. My ultimate objective is to empower individuals to forge a healthy self-identity, recognizing and celebrating their unique and authentic selves.
